Dr. Salah is an associate professor (since 10/2012) in the Department of Mechatronics Engineering at the Hashemite University (HU) located in the city of Zarqa in Jordan where he joined the department as an assistant professor in 9/2007.

Dr. Salah received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University, South Carolina, USA, in July 2007, his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire, New Hampshire, USA, in December 2003, and his B.S. in Electrical Engineering (Electromechanical Systems) from Al-Balqa' Applied University (Amman College for Engineering Technology), Jordan, in June 2000.

Dr. Salah worked for PALCO Control as a mechatronics and control engineer from June 2000 to January 2002. Dr. Salah's research interests include Nonlinear Control Design for Mechatronics Systems, Control of MEMS, Robotic Systems, Renewable Energy Systems, and Automotive Systems, and he is a member of Jordanian Engineers Association (JEA), IEEE, and IEEE Robotics and Automation Society.
